I started my health and well being journey in 1991
In recent years I have explored this world much more deeply to increase my knowledge and understanding of meditation, yoga, holistic healing and spiritual guidance to better aid my clients. The calming influence of all these experiences allows me to project a feeling of calm onto those around me.
Some of the wonderful opportunities I’ve been able to enjoy are a yoga and meditation retreat in India, a fabulous time spent learning Rahanni, a Shamanic healing workshop and I have also attended sound therapy courses. All of which draws together to help my clients on an individual level.
In India I spent my time at Mahatma Ashram on the banks of the beautiful Ganges river in Rishikesh; located in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India, it is known as the ‘Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas’ and ‘Yoga Capital of the World’. The ashram where I stayed had a tight schedule of two 90 minute Hatha yoga sessions a day. Supplemented with early morning chanting, purification and meditation followed by two hour lecture on the philosophy of Hatha yoga. This was taught by the most respected Guru Yogi Ji. The man’s knowledge about the world was immense.
During my free time there I visited ancient spiritual caves where monks would go to meditate, I swam in the Ganges and did water rafting, visited local markets, had cooking lessons from the locals, attended a spiritual purification aarti, spent time with the beautiful children who were selling flowers for the ceremony and I visited the highest temple in Rishikesh and had a blessing while there.
I look forward to sharing many stories and working with you to enhance you total well being, health and happiness.
